About the Bring Your Own Brain Festival of Neuroscience

BYOB logo

Every two years, the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) co-ordinates a public festival of neuroscience to celebrate and share the science of the brain and nervous system.

All events are free and open to everyone (click here for full programme) and we aim to cover all types of neuroscience, from how we learn to mental health to discovering the inner life of locusts. Previous events have included art installations, evening talks, school sesssions, and even a rap performance on consciousness.

This year's BYOB is taking place 21st-23rd April, with a range of events for different audiences. All activities are online and/or you can take part from home.

Just Bring Your Own Brain and discover how amazing it is!

The public BYOB event takes place in parallel to the major international neuroscience conference, the BNA Festival of Neuroscience. This year's science conference, BNA2021, takes place 12-15 April (i.e. prior to the public Festival).
