The French Neuroscience Society (Société des Neurosciences) gathers more than 2,000 members working in all fields of neuroscience. It organizes scientific meetings among which, NeuroFrance, which brings together around 1,300 participants every two years. It coordinates the Brain Awareness Week in France every year and supports young researchers by awarding them prizes.
The French Neuroscience Society also takes part in debates on the societal impact of neuroscience and carries out joint actions at the international level in association with partners such as FENS, IBRO and the French Brain Council.
