The Biochemical Society is the UK’s largest single-discipline learned society within the biosciences and it has been at the forefront of promoting the advancement of molecular biology for over 100 years. Together with our publisher, Portland Press, the Group supports researchers and institutions, to facilitate the sharing of expertise via scientific meetings, training events, journals, educational activities, public engagement, policy work, awards and grants. Combining our efforts in this way allows us to better serve current and future generations of scientists, driving our many research areas forward and raising awareness of their importance in addressing societal grand challenges.
