Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC) fees
We are delighted to welcome neuroscience colleagues from around the world to visit us in the UK. To increase accessibility for neuroscientists in Low and Middle-Income countries (LMIC), we offer a reduction on the standard registration fees.
To be eligible for LMIC fee rates, you must be based (working or studying at an institution) in one of the countries listed here, which is based on information from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Please note that we may follow up with individuals who register using LMIC rates to check they are based in one of the eligible countries.

Group Bookings
Register together with friends and colleagues and save money via group bookings.
Ideal for student cohorts, lab groups or whole departments, group bookings enable mixed groups to pay for attendance, posters and social events via a single payment. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
You have the right to cancel payment of a registration fee and obtain a full refund for any BNA-organised meeting within seven days of registering. To request a refund within this seven-day period, please contact the BNA Festival Secretariat at [email protected]. Please note that all refunds for BNA2025 will incur a £15 administration charge.
If you cancel after the seven-day period, a written notification must be sent by email to [email protected]. All cancellations will also incur a £15 administration fee.
Refunds for cancellations outside the seven-day window are processed as follows:
- If you cancel more than 60 days before the start of the meeting (up to 23:59 BST on Tuesday 25 February 2025), you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
- If you cancel 60-30 days before the meeting (from 00:01 BST on Wednesday 26 February to 23:59 BST on Friday 28 March 2025, inclusive), you will be refunded 25% of your registration fee.
- Cancellations fewer than 30 days before the meeting (from 00:01 BST on Saturday 29 March 2025 onward) are non-refundable, unless the cancellation occurs within seven days of your registration.
Extenuating Circumstances: If you believe extenuating circumstances apply to your cancellation, please contact the BNA Festival Secretariat to discuss. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the BNA.

At the British Neuroscience Association, we are dedicated to ensuring that BNA2025 remains as affordable and accessible as possible for everyone in the neuroscience community. The Festival is significantly subsidised, thanks to the generous contributions from our BNA2025 Partner Organisations, including the BNA itself, alongside our sponsors, supporters, and exhibitors. This event embodies a collaborative effort from neuroscience societies worldwide, coming together to strengthen and support their respective communities.
As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus funds raised through sponsorship or exhibition at BNA2025 will be reinvested directly into the BNA to help us achieve our charitable objectives. These funds help us on our mission to support neuroscientists, promote neuroscience, and advance the field as a whole.
