Social Programme
In addition to the extensive scientific programme, BNA2025 is your chance to socialise with connections old and new, whilst enjoying everything Liverpool has to offer.
When you register for BNA2025 you will be given the option to purchase tickets for the Social Evening on Monday 28th April 2025 and tickets for the Gala Dinner on Tuesday 29th April 2025. If you have already registered and would like to add the social events on to your registration, please follow the instructions in your confirmation email to update your booking.
Welcome Reception, ACC

What to expect:
Join us to kick-off the Festival in style, with a very special performance from the Halcyon Syncopators - group of like-minded south Liverpool musicians who love playing big band dance music.
Drinks and nibbles will be available as you mingle with our exhibitors and speakers in an informal setting before our scientific programme begins. Take this opportunity to register ahead of the morning rush and meet the President of the BNA who will officially open the Festival.
Social Evening, Boom Battle Bar
When: Monday 28th April, 20:00 - 23:30 BST

All delegates are welcome to join us for this friendly and inclusive event. Continue your conversations from day 1 of the Festival and socialise with your fellow attendees at ‘the most exciting games bar in Liverpool’!
Ticket prices includes a welcome drink (alcoholic and soft drinks available), plus unlimited access to:

Gala Dinner, Liverpool Cathedral
When: Tuesday 29th April, 19:00 - 23.00 BST
Where: Liverpool Cathedral, St James Mount, Liverpool, Merseyside L1 7AZ
Cost: £35 (student) - £75 (full price)
What to expect:
Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Britain and the 5th largest Cathedral in the world. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we dine amidst the breathtaking architecture, art, and history of this grand space. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner and drinks in the magnificent Nave ('the Well') beneath the renowned Tracey Emin art installation.
The evening will also feature entertainment, providing a truly memorable experience for all. This celebratory event is open to all BNA2025 delegates, with both student and full-price tickets available.
Please note that student tickets are exclusive to undergraduate and postgraduate attendees.
