Kick off the BNA2019 Festival of Neuroscience in style! All delegates are invited to attend the welcome reception on the first night of the Festival and take the opportunity to chat with old colleagues or to meet new friends and associates over a glass of wine amongst the large and bustling exhibition space.

An Evening of conversation with winners of The Brain Prize

Join three of the top neuroscientists of our time - Trevor Robbins, Ray Dolan and John Hardy for a very special evening of informal discussion, questions and reflections with winners of the Lundbeck Foundation’s ‘The Brain Prize’.

This is your chance to meet the British winners of Lundbeck Foundation’s largest research prize, also known as The Brain prize, an international scientific award honouring "one or more scientists who have distinguished themselves by an outstanding contribution to European neuroscience".

We are extremely grateful to The Brain Prize for supporting this event. The Brain Prize is a personal research prize awarded annually by Lundbeckfonden, a leading Danish Foundation, to one or more scientists who have distinguished themselves by an outstanding contribution to European neuroscience and who are still active in research.  

Anyone can nominate and nominations are submitted online on the Foundation’s website - see full information about The Brain Prize online.

Time for a night on the tiles! Your chance to party Dublin-style and let your hair down on the last night of the Festival. You're in for an exciting and lively evening of entertainment at the Café en Seine in the heart of Dublin’s nightlife district, a stone's throw from Trinity College and Temple Bar.

Gala dinner for speakers and guests  
20:30, Tuesday 16th April - Trinity College Dublin Dining Hall

This special event will take place in the historical splendour of Trinity College Dublin's Old Dining Hall, where you will be served a four-course meal with tastefully matched wine and have the opportunity to meet both colleagues and new acquaintances with a shared interest in the Festival of Neuroscience.
