4) Information for poster presenters

Some points to remember:

  • Firstly, a reminder of the Abstract Submission Guidelines, and that the submitted abstract and its corresponding poster presentation must discuss the same piece of work.
  • Don’t forget to upload your poster to the OSF Meeting depository for BNA2019.  Be part of Open Science, and share your research with the world!
  • Posters must be no more than A0 in size (841mm x 1189mm) and portrait in format.
  • Make sure you know when your poster preview session is taking place (see times below).  Your poster must be on its board by the START of the poster preview session, so that people can see your poster.
  • You do not have to be present at your poster during the preview.
  • You must be present at your poster throughout the session itself.
  • It is your responsibility to remove your poster from its board by the end of the day.  Any remaining posters will be disposed of.

Poster stickers

Journals can now acknowledge studies which have used Open Data, Preregistration and/or Open Methods by using Badges (see about badges more here). In order to recognise posters at BNA2019 featuring these open practices, we have a set of equivalent stickers with which you can adorn your poster. Please speak to BNA staff if you think your poster should have one, two or all three!

If your study has caught the eye of an editor, you may find an Editor’s Invitation sticker on your poster too.
